The Center for Climate Crime Analysis is an NGO that fights climate change by using the combined power of law, data and analysis.
They were looking support to streamline their Grant and Expense Management, as they needed to track and report on all donations and its destinations.
The Challenge
- Grant and Expense Management (GEM) fall under one person.
- GEM done in Excel, couldn’t be done by others:
- Too easy to mess up the data
- Missing granular user permissions
The Solution
- Switch from Excel to Airtable.
- Create ad GEM app on Softr with specific permissions for each user.
- Financial Tracker and Project Management System in a single custom app accessible online.
The Results
- Easier to predict future budget in multiple currencies, Streamlined reporting on fund payments.
