Setting Up the Integration
To implement this integration, we'll be using Hive Automate. If you don't have access to Hive Automate, reach out to your Hive representative to explore activation options.

Action Assigned Notification
- Trigger: New or updated action in Hive
- Monitor the "assignees" field
- Check if someone was assigned to the task
- Retrieve the user's email and Slack ID
- Send a private message in Slack with the task details and link
Due Date Notification
- Trigger: Daily at midnight
- Retrieve all actions from Hive
- Check for actions due today or overdue (customizable)
- For each due action, get user details and post a Slack message
- Optional: Notify a project-specific Slack channel
Comment Mention Notification
- Trigger: Daily at 6 AM
- Get details of a specific action in Hive
- Retrieve all comments from the action card
- Check for mentions from the previous day
- Notify mentioned users privately on Slack
